America Emergency Squad will host a First Responders Mental Health Seminar on March 19 at 7:30 PM at Station 509 in Mount Holly. The program will address the mental health challenges faced by emergency responders and highlight resources available to support their wellbeing. About Our Presenters

Anthony Federici, MA, LPC, NCC, MICP

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with and speak to your department about mental health for first responders. I have some experience in speaking to this population as I often speak with Paramedic students at Atlantic Cape Community College on this very topic. Please allow me to give a brief background on why I would be the best fit to speak with your department. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey as well as the owner of Summit Counseling in Pitman New Jersey. I am also a Per Diem Paramedic at Inspira Health Network. I was a full time paramedic for about 10 years prior to becoming a counselor and have been active in the EMS field for the past 18 years. I am also a United States Army veteran who was deployed to Iraq for two combat tours post 9/11. My passion is working with veterans and first responders on healing the trauma they experience in both their professional and personal lives. I am also passionate about prevention of the impact traumatic experiences have on these populations by providing a safe, understanding, and relatable experience when they meet with me.

Jarrod Broadway

He currently serves as Chief Learning Officer for Vitality Sight, where he leads the development of programs focused on wellness, resilience, and operational effectiveness across public safety and related professions. With 24 years as a paramedic and more than two decades in law enforcement at the municipal, county, and federal levels, Jarrod brings uncommon depth and credibility to conversations about the emotional realities of first responder work. His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Adult and Continuing Education, allowing him to integrate lived experience with sound learning science. Jarrod is deeply committed to supporting first responders as they navigate the cumulative stress and critical incidents inherent to their roles. Under his leadership, Vitality Sight oversees the Burlington County Crisis Intervention Team training program, and he also serves as a member of the Mercury Team CISM - Critical Incident Stress Management team in South Jersey.
