Anthony Federici, MA, LPC, NCC, MICP
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with and speak to your department about mental health for first responders. I have some experience in speaking to this population as I often speak with Paramedic students at Atlantic Cape Community College on this very topic. Please allow me to give a brief background on why I would be the best fit to speak with your department. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey as well as the owner of Summit Counseling in Pitman New Jersey. I am also a Per Diem Paramedic at Inspira Health Network. I was a full time paramedic for about 10 years prior to becoming a counselor and have been active in the EMS field for the past 18 years. I am also a United States Army veteran who was deployed to Iraq for two combat tours post 9/11. My passion is working with veterans and first responders on healing the trauma they experience in both their professional and personal lives. I am also passionate about prevention of the impact traumatic experiences have on these populations by providing a safe, understanding, and relatable experience when they meet with me.
